Our 2023 annual MPN Peoria Hike will take place at Forest Park Nature Center on November 18, 2023.  Choose from 2 trails--something for everyone!  Both trails are 2 miles, one is primarily flat, and the other is a moderate trail with some hills. Complimentary snacks & water are provided.  There is a bathroom on site.

When does the hike begin?

Check-in begins at 11:00 AM with opening remarks and introduction at 11:15 and the hike beginning at 11:30.  

 

Can we register the day of the hike?

Yes!  You will be able to register on the day of the hike.

 

Do we get any hike swag?

YES!  All registered hikers will receive an MPN Peoria stocking hat on the day of the hike.

 

Is there a registration fee?

There is NO registration fee, but please feel free to make a donation in the amount of your choice.

 

Is the donation tax-deductible?

Yes, donations to MPN Peoria are tax-deductible.

 

Can my company or I sponsor the MPN Peoria hike?

YES... we would love to talk to you about sponsorship.  Please email us at mpnpeoria@gmail.com.

 

Is there parking?

There is limited parking at Forest Park Nature Center, but parking will be available in neighboring adjacent lots.  There will be attendants directing parking the morning of the event.  

 

What if it rains or snows?

There is no alternate date.  The MPN Peoria Hike will take place rain or shine... we predict a beautiful Fall day with plenty of hot cocoa.

 

Are pets allowed on the hike?

Unfortunately, furry friends are NOT allowed.  Forest Park Nature Center is an Illinois State Nature Preserve which does not allow pets.  

 

Can I hike virtually if I live out of town?

Yes, please hike, bike, walk, run, or whatever activity you like in your place and send us photos via Facebook or Instagram.
